Hike and Help at St.Marks, FL

Hike and Help at St.Marks, FL

Back in January, we laced up our boots and hit the Florida Trail at St. Marks. Towering pines, saw palmettos, and cypress knees lined the path as we wound through wild, untouched Florida. The kind of place that reminds you exactly why we fight to keep it that way.

But it wasn’t just about hiking.

We linked up with local volunteers for a bit of trail help. From clearing branches, picking up litter, and learning how this stretch of land ties into Florida’s ecological heartbeat. Not many know that St. Marks National Wildlife Refuge is one of the oldest in the country. Which is home to gators, deer, marsh birds, and a piece of outdoor history.

At Brown Neck, exploring the outdoors comes with a responsibility: to give back to the land that raised us. Whether you’re hiking through pine flats or casting lines into the salt marsh, you’re part of something bigger.
